Administration of ORora
Overview of the ORora
The ORora provides instructional and functional information for teachers and parents in two main domains Level of Independence (LOI; attention, basic math concepts, subdomains) and Communication (COM; expressive and receptive subdomains). The ORora can be administered to any student taking the ORExt via electronic or paper/pencil administration. It is recommended to be administered to students with significant cognitive disabilities (SWSCDs) who are not able to access the academic demands of the Oregon Extended Assessment (ORExt) and who have met minimum participation. Teacher(s) with the most accurate knowledge of the student's current level of functioning should complete the ORora.
*If testing for an ORExt content area assessment is submitted for minimum participation in English language arts, Mathematics, or Science, completion of the ORora is recommended (only one ORora per student must be completed). The ORora can be completed electronically on the electronic secure test platform, or paper/pencil and submit through data entry in the Testing, Test Students section.
